South Australia has one of the lowest participation rates in the country with untapped highly qualified talent available. Australia has over 50 per cent of people with disability of working age in the workforce versus 84 per cent of those without disability. This employment gap has remained unchanged for 20 years.
It is estimated that employing people with disability would add over $50 billion to the GDP by 2050 if we closed this gap. How can we turn this around?
