Casey Paniora’s ambition to start his own crane business received a significant boost when he discovered the BHP Local Buying Program (LBP). Engaging in a conversation with a former BHP General Manager, he learned about the LBP and wasted no time registering his business. Thanks to the LBP’s support, he swiftly secured crane projects with BHP Nickel West sites, attributing his initial success to this opportunity.​

BHP were often having to source cranes from Kalgoorlie. Having a local company with equipment ready for mobilisation to site has proven extremely beneficial – providing significant time and cost savings. The local business was onboarded quite quickly and has since been involved in numerous engagements including shutdown works, underground Franna operation, and rigging duties.
