QLD Local Buying Foundation News | Trading Tracks acknowledged at RIN Awards Gala Dinner

Trading Tracks is a unique initiative that has been developed in partnership with the Local Buying Foundation, BMA and BHP. The program, delivered by the team at Indigenous Business Builders, aims to build capability and capacity of established Indigenous businesses and provide sound strategic advice. Assistance will also be targeted to new Indigenous businesses through a range of services relevant to start-ups.
We couldn’t be prouder of the Qld Local Buying Foundation and Indigenous Business Builders team for receiving the Striving For Diversity Award for the ‘Trading Tracks – Indigenous Business Support Program’, at the Resource Industry Network Awards.  Trading Tracks, along with the companies delivering this initiative, were acknowledged on the night for demonstrating leadership in diversity, promoting equity, engaging in inclusive and equitable workplace practices, and embracing workplace diversity in a meaningful way.
Indigenous businesses in our community are vibrant, resourceful, and looking for opportunities to engage with larger organisations.  Trading Tracks is connecting these businesses with those larger organisations who have expressed an interest in sourcing goods and services from this sector.
While still in it’s infancy, the Trading Tracks program is already making a significant impact connecting Indigenous businesses in Mackay, Isaac, Central Highlands and Worrabinda with essential business support measures and networking opportunities.
