Introductions made at the Local Buying Program Meet the Buyer event in Muswellbrook, in February this year, have led to BHP MAC Production Contracts and Services Team recently engaging LBP Indigenous Supplier, Goanna Services.
The job was to facilitate the dry hire of 15-tonne roller for an ongoing period of 12 months; with the hire period expected to be extended beyond that.
Cory Robertson of Goanna Services was thrilled with the opportunity.
“BHP MAC Contracts coordinator Craig Sullivan and his team have been first-class to deal with,” Cory said.
“They are straight forward, fair dinkum and helpful in all of their discussions and co-ordinations with them.
“That’s what we like, so it allows us the ability to get the job done and do what we say we will do.”
The C-Res Business Development Advisors are committed to building strong and sustainable relationships with Indigenous suppliers and are continually working alongside BHP to deliver future possibilities through the Program, and building the capability and capabilities of all local businesses.
