NSW: Livability a core focus of Upper Hunter Mining Dialogue annual forum

Community, government and industry representatives shone the spotlight on livability and community as part of the Upper Hunter Mining Dialogue Annual Forum at Singleton Civic Centre in November.

The combined goal of the forum was to develop ideas aimed at making the Upper Hunter a better place to live.

Along with 27 displays from mining companies, NSW government agencies, local government and business groups, the Local Buying Program was prolific at the event.

Business Development Advisor, Lisa Harpley, was available to engage with local suppliers, and speak to them about local procurement with BHP, Mt Arthur Coal.

This year’s attendees were also on hand for the launch of the Dialogue’s new Procurement Hub.

The Hub aims to provide valuable links to procurement options for the local mining sector.
