Business and Community interaction is vital for our local Business Development Advisors, which is why our NSW BDA, Lisa Harpley has been prolific at local events and activities such as the Muswellbrook Chamber of Commerce and Industry December Chamber Breakfast and Singleton Women in Business November event.
As strong partners of both of these organisations – and their events, the Local Buying Program and Local Buying Foundation, the events consistently attract a number of LBP suppliers.
Ms Harpley said while the events gave representatives of businesses and community organisations the chance to network and work “on” their businesses, instead of always in them, it also provided her with the opportunity to hear, first hand, the challenges, needs and opportunities within the region.
She said they were consistently a comfortable and accessible forum via which feedback, questions and even concerns could be discussed about the Local Buying Program during informal networking.
