BHP and BMA employees can register at any time to use the Local Buying Program for their procurement needs. Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their BHP email. Once registered, buyers can source goods and services from Local Buying Program suppliers by raising Work Instructions.

Shotfiring

Our Shotfiring course covers:

– Fundamental blasting methods in mining
– Key terminology
– Practical considerations for shotfiring operations
– Legislative requirements for the conduct of shotfiring in mining

Whilst this is specifically for open cut applications, there is substantial cross over to the underground statutory functions.

Attendees will receive a minimum of 4 hours of formal training that will go towards their Maintenance of Competence for their NSW Practicing Certificate (accompanied by a certificate of completion).
