C-Res engagements forge crucial alliances in the Pilbara

As an important driving force behind local economic growth, C-Res has made strategic additions to its Western Australia team, recently welcoming new Business Development Advisor, Kim Kinsella, based in Newman and new Local Buying Foundation Project Officer, Cody Girdwood, to help deliver the Local Buying Program and Local Buying Foundation in the WAIO regions.

Recent engagements with key stakeholders, including IMG, Indigenous Management Group (who deliver the Local Buying Foundation and BHP funded project, Trading Tracks), the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHCCI), and BHP Social Value and Communities teams, sparked candid conversations and collaborations. In-person meetings facilitated open dialogue, leading to insights on projects like Supply Chain Ready and training initiatives with BHP.

The C-Res team received valuable feedback and is working on engagement strategies tailored for WAIO. New alliances and insights promise to drive sustainable economic development in the region.

Kim Kinsella, C-Res Business Development Advisor in Newman, expressed optimism about the journey ahead. “The connections forged and insights gained will shape our future, driving prosperity in WAIO regions,” she remarked.
