At the heart of our community, the importance of fostering local connections and supporting small businesses is very important. As the festive season approached, BHP Mt Arthur Coal sought a local supplier to contribute to the festivities. Their vision was to create a memorable experience for their teams, spreading joy and camaraderie. The requirement included 100 steaks, 200 sausages, 200 bread rolls and chopped onion each day for several staff gatherings, allowing everyone to catch-up prior to the holidays.

Via the Local Buying Program, site found a local team to arrange supplies.  Over a four-day period leading up to Christmas, each team assembled together for a BBQ morning, embodying the spirit of togetherness, all made possible by the timely and quality provisions from our trusted Local Buying Program supplier – The Chop Shop.
