There has been a lot happening with BHP in South Australia recently and our local suppliers in Roxby Downs are eager to know what opportunities are ahead with BHP.
Events such as the Roxby Business Breakfast which hosted acting BHP SA Asset President, Dr. Jenny Purdie (and sponsored by the Local Buying Foundation) proved to be a valued opportunity for the 66 local business and community members that attended. Dr. Jenny Purdie provided an important update to attendees around both the changes ahead and the opportunities that this may bring.
Not only did this event prove to be a great networking opportunity for LBP Suppliers to meet with key BHP stakeholders, including Local Procurement and Communities teams, it also provided attendees the ability to share feedback, ask questions and discuss the future for the region.
“The LBF Breakfast was a great opportunity for BHP and local vendors to come together and connect. A great platform over breakfast to interact and learn from each other. I had a few meaningful conversations and even made some new connections. It was inspiring to hear some of the local stories. Well done to the teams on creating a welcoming environment.”
