BHP and BMA employees can register at any time to use the Local Buying Program for their procurement needs. Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their BHP email. Once registered, buyers can source goods and services from Local Buying Program suppliers by raising Work Instructions.

Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their Tier A Contractor email. Black coffee fuels growth and opportunity​

The Waalitj Hub in Perth offers crucial support to aspiring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs and businesses. Recently the hub hosted a Black Coffee networking event, to bring together a diverse group of Indigenous businesses to discuss ways to bridge gaps and create opportunities for new and emerging Indigenous businesses. ​

Kelly Cooke, C-Res Indigenous Business Development Principal, attended the event to share information on the Local Buying Program and Local Buying Foundation. By supporting Indigenous businesses and connecting them with new supply opportunities, BHP and C-Res are collectively building a stronger, more inclusive business landscape, bringing about positive change and long-term social value.
