BHP and BMA employees can register at any time to use the Local Buying Program for their procurement needs. Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their BHP email. Once registered, buyers can source goods and services from Local Buying Program suppliers by raising Work Instructions.

Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their Tier A Contractor email. Hub connects business, education and community in Roxby

Previously, the physical space in Roxby Downs was lacking for local businesses to meet with C-Res staff for assistance with the Local Buying Program. However, with the support of BHP, the newly opened Innovation Hub has come to the rescue. The Hub compliments BHP’s other investments, including the BHP Future of Work Program and the Local Buying Program.

The new Innovation Hub is providing a free co-working space for BHP, C-Res, Uni Hub, small business, and the community. It offers a professional, serviced environment where people can meet, network, and collaborate. The Roxby Downs Business Development Advisor for C-Res is now based at the Innovation Hub, providing businesses with a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Local Buying Program and meet with a dedicated local representative.

This not only increases the profile of LBP but also supports local businesses and the economy. The Hub also enhances and increases connectivity between BHP and LBP, creating more opportunities for small businesses to supply to BHP. Overall, it is a great asset to the community and a valuable resource for local businesses.
