An Indigenous Business from South Australia was able to successfully design and create Welcome Packs for new BHP employees via the Local Buying Program. The packs included 5,000 BHP reusable bags, 5,000 BHP lanyards, 5,000 BHP drink bottles, 5000 x BHP keep cups and 5000 BHP welcome cards. Despite receiving quotes from multiple vendors, We Create Print Deliver (WCPD) was the only supplier that could meet the specified time frames and so was chosen to complete the work.

BHP engaged WCPD using the LBP portal and was impressed with their professionalism and clear communication throughout the process. As a result of the success of this endeavour, there is potential for an ongoing contract to provide additional Welcome Packs to new BHP employees. The LBP program provides a valuable resource for engaging with competent and resourceful Indigenous Businesses.
