Thanks to Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce for providing us the opportunity to connect with chamber members to discuss BHP’s Local Buying Program and Local Buying Foundation.  C-Res CEO, Tracey Cuttriss-Smith shared an update on what C-Res and BHP are achieving together for small, local and Indigenous businesses in the Mackay, Isaac and Central Highlands regions, and what’s on the horizon.

A definite point of interest was the Program’s payment terms, currently averaging six days from receipt of invoice, and how the cash flow benefits are circulating through our regions and supporting the sustainability of our local economies.
