To ensure value for money and timely delivery, a Request for Quote was released through the BHP Local Buying Program to local suppliers across the South Australian regions. Eighteen suppliers were invited to quote, resulting in five high‑quality responses and a strong competitive field.

This helps to establish new relationships between Prominent Hill teams and local suppliers, broadening purchasing options and helping to lift efficiency across the wider supply chain.
