Local Buying Program Suppliers

Local businesses who have an annual turnover of <AUD$10M and a significant physical presence in the state’s eligible regions can register to participate in the Local Buying Program in that state.

Registrations are assessed on an individual basis in alignment with the Local Buying Program eligibility criteria. Once approved, suppliers will have the ability to access and respond to work opportunities (Work Instructions) in their state as they become available.

Buyers (BHP / BMA / Stanmore)

BHP / BMA / Stanmore employees can register at any time to use the Local Buying Program for their procurement needs. Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their BHP / Stanmore email. Once registered, buyers can source goods and services from Local Buying Program suppliers by raising Work Instructions.

Buyers (Tier A Contractors)

Tier A Contractor employees can register at any time to use the Local Buying Program for their procurement needs. Buyers will be required to validate their registrations via their Tier A Contractor email. Once registered, buyers can source goods and services from Local Buying Program suppliers by raising Work Instructions.

THE GREAT CATTLE DOG MUSTER: Family Fun Day

The main Community Family Fun Day being held at the Muswellbrook Showground. A full day of dog related and non-dog related activities for cattle dog enthusiasts, visitors and children alike will be conducted.

Visitors from across Australia and from overseas will be flocking to Muswellbrook to celebrate the Upper Hunter Valley being the birth place of these unique indigenous working breeds. With a country vibe and festival feel, the community family fun day is expected to attract a large number of visitors.
